Please purchase your fishing licenses PRIOR to your arrival. You must have a fishing license to go on ANY of the fishing excursions that Big River Expeditions has to offer. If you are king fishing at any point, be sure to purchase a king stamp for the duration of your stay. You can do this by visiting the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website. You’ll need to input your personal information – name, address, date of birth, and driver’s license information – and select the type of license you’d like to purchase. You’ll then be able to select the start date and time for which you’d like your license to be effective. You can complete this process and print your license in advance. It will be one less thing you’ll have to worry about during your trip!
